Grandma

Thank you for the gift of love,

now you’re sharing it up above.

You had many things to say.

All in a caring way.

You always saw good in everyone,

No matter what they’ve done.

You were always the one we could all lean on.

Even though it must have felt like a ton.

You were always the strength of the family.

Now we must let you rest calmly.

As we say goodbye,

as tears roll down our eyes.

I know your place in heaven has a good view.

Because you’re telling God,

I need to keep an eye on a few.

I know you will always be in our hearts and mind.

So Grandma,

I must go, but I’ll never forget you’re one of a kind.

Grandma,

Tomorrow is the day we will rejoice your going home to be with our heavenly father. I cannot tell you how honored I am to be your granddaughter. I know crying is something you don’t want any of us to do but unfortunately I can’t help it. I will hold onto the memories of visiting you at your apartment on yesler and the cakes and pies you use to make especially for me during my visit. I will always remember who taught me how to multipy fractions in the 4th grade. Patience is something you had. The lord makes no mistakes he called home his leading angel on earth. Last night I watched Camryn sleep and she was full of joy. She laughed and she was smiling so hard I just knew you were playing with her. I love you grandma and I thank you for all that you done here on earth. May you rest in peace.

My wonderful Auntie will be forever missed, but never forgotten. I will remember all the walks you took us on, going blackberry picking, and all the stories you’d tell us as kids. Remembering your beautiful smile, uplifting personality, and contagious laugh will always get me through when times get rough. I know you are in a better place called heaven, and you can spread your wings like the true angel you are.

Love Always XOXO

Mom,

It was a joy growing up with you. You were very strict and NOW I know why and I am thankful for that. You were very wise and loving. I miss you so much right now, however knowing that you are with Jesus gives me great comfort because I know we will see each other again. Grandma, Grandpa, Bigmama and friends, “rejoice”

God has just allowed another angel to join you. Love you mom! Joanne

Grandma,

I am truly going to miss you. I know you are above watching over all of us and I know you are not in pain and you are reunited with Great Grandma. You are the best grandma anybody could ask for. The love you had for all of us was one that was unforgetable. Grandma I will always hold you close to my heart. Although I can’t be with you now I know that we will meet again in heaven. Until then grandma I love you and keep my seat warm.

Yours Truly,
