Obituary
On April 4, 2012 Otto Virgil Peterson passed away and joined the rest of the Peterson family that awaited him on the other side. Otto was born on March 19, 1921 to Charles and Clara Peterson in Vang, North Dakota where he was raised on a farm with his family of 14. He served in the army in 1943 as a tank gunner where he was wounded in France, discharged in 1945. He then moved to Seattle and began his career at Boeing as a machinist for 37 years, retired for 29 years. He is survived by his younger brother Emmet Peterson, his wife of 56 years Lorraine Barnard Peterson, his two children Charles Otto Peterson (wife Tami, grandchildren Summer, Amber, Heather, Ciara, Chas and five great grandchildren Starlyn, Skyler, River, Autumn and Rock ) Cheryl Peterson McLeod, his stepchildren John Greer, Karen Moran and family, Jim Bemis (grandchildren Brandon Bemis and Tayler Bemis), and Zola Bear. Otto enjoyed watching the Mariners win and was very proud of his loving family. He was very competitive and good at ping pong, played pool, horseshoes, bowling and played poker with the best. Otto had a heart of gold and genuinely loved life. Your smile and laughter will be forever cherished, we are grateful to have been part of your life.
