Pastor Robert Fricks

December 1, 1955 - June 4, 2021

Obituary

Robert Edward Fricks, Jr, more affectionately known as “Bobby”, was called home to Heaven on June 4, 2021 at the age of 65. Born December 1, 1955 to parents Robert Fricks, Sr and Donna Neal. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 45 years Darlene Fricks, his son Jonathan and daughters Melanie and Rebekah, his grandchildren Sheyanne, Gabby and Aryanna. Pastor Fricks also leaves behind his father Robert Fricks, Sr, step mother Lynne Fricks, sister Teresa and brothers Ronald, Raymond and Richard. He was a long time Pastor at Galilee Baptist Church and School in Kent, WA and leaves behind a large church and school family. Bobby was a devoted Christian and loved sharing God’s word with anyone willing to listen. We take great comfort at this difficult time knowing that he is in the arms of the Lord and standing beside his Mother Donna in Heaven.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:58

There will be a memorial service June 22, 2021 at 11am at Galilee Baptist Church in Kent.

Love you Bobby and so grateful for your steadfast ministry. And for being the best big brother ever. You’ve left a big hole in our hearts, but we are happy for you to be where you’ve spent your life learning and teaching about. You would be so proud of your family.

Dad,
I miss you in the most incredible way. I would do anything asked if it meant bringing you back. Hug Grandma for me. You take care of everyone up there, I’ll take care of everyone down here.
