Pat will always be special to me. For many years she came into our dentist office and we became friends. We laughed all during her appointments and made fun of each other even during an extraction. We shared storied and pictures of our animals which we both loved so very much. I felt as though I knew Lucy and Annie because they were like our kids. Our dentist retired and Pat went to one closer to her home instead of traveling to West Seattle so we lost track of each other for the past year but she was still thought about often. African Violets to you Pat, you’ll be missed.

Pat and I worked together at the Social Security Office of Quality Assurance and had many things in common. One day there was a picture of a beautiful Siamese cat with the caption “This cat needs a home”. Pat had found this cat on a street corner in the U district; I know she would have liked to keep him but she had Sasha and another cat and wanted him to have a good home. That was all it took; We came to Pat’s apartment and picked up Caesar. He was our loving and beautiful kitty for the next seventen years and brought our family much pleasure. We thank Pat for her generosity and loving of the people and animals in her life.
