Beloved wife and mother, Patricia Louise Simpson, passed to a better place the afternoon of September 24, 2011. Patricia was born on July 13, 1927 to Herold Moore Waldron and Audrey Louise Sprague, both deceased, in Sequim, Washington. Patricia graduated from the last Nursing class of Virginia Mason Hospital in 1945. She then began her career as an RN at Virginia Mason Hospital serving for over 30 years. In 1951, Patricia married Melvin L. Simpson and added two daughters to their family, Janet Lynn Simpson Hinde and Beverly Louise Simpson Wolfrum. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister, Carmalita Huff, her parents, Herold and Audrey, and her grandson, Marcus Paul Hinde. Patricia is survived by her husband, Melvin; daughter Beverly and husband Brad Wolfrum and grandchildren Dennis and Kristine; daughter Janet and grandchildren Megan Hinde and great-grandson Christopher and Chip and wife Lorraine Hinde and great-granddaughters Zoey and Eva, her brother Harvey and wife Ruby Waldron and nephew Michael and nieces Linda and Kathy and her niece, Jean Scheffler. Services are at 1:30pm, Friday, September 30, at the Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park, SeaTac.A Foundation in her name is being established at Virginia Mason Hospital for Nursing Education.
