Goodbye my friend. I will cherish memories of the good times we had together with our families at the Maryknoll Christmas party, emails and an occasional wave from you out the cockpit window when I was working on the SEA flightline fueling your companies aircraft.
My heart goes out to you Theresa, Chanel and Chase. Pat I would not of known of your tragic fate had it not been for your cousin Father Tom Marti, MM who sent me an email Friday evening. Pat, You and your family are in Myrtle’s and my prayers and thoughts. May our Good Lord Love and keep you forever. Amen.
I used to babysit the Wallace boys. They were and are a wonderful family. My deepest sympathies go out to you all.
Pat was a very special man, someone you could easily call “friend.” He was always so outgoing. Never knew a stanger. He will be very much missed, but will now be with God, where he can do even more for those he loved and cared about so much. Thank you, Pat, for being “friend” to me.
Thersa, Chanel and Chase, our hearts are holding your hearts very close. Pat was a wonderful father, husband and son and we, who watched from the sidelines, recognized him as outstanding. May God bless and keep you very close. Jacki and Dale Watson
My deepest prayers and thought are with Pat’s family.
Pat was an incredible soul and so personable. We shared many laughs and fond memories during our years in High School and the memorable trips when he and friends would visit while I was attending college in Bellingham.
His dreams came true…he ALWAYS wanted to fly, travel and he found his true love in Theresa and his children.
I will forever miss my “Aquarian” friend, and the dreams and laughter we shared. Who could forget our crazy dancing at our 20th High School Reunion?? Again, you made me laugh.
You are with God now, but you are always in my heart and in the hearts of all that were fortunate to have known you!!
dear Theresa, Chase, Chanel,
Aunt Arlene, Uncle Pat, Tom,

Dear Theresa, Chase And Chanel,
I was so saddened to learn of the loss of your husband and father Pat. God bless you through these difficult days. The following poem reminds me so much of the joy pilots may experience doing what they love. It was written by a young pilot John Gillespie Magee Jr. in 1941. He was killed at age 19 while serving w/ the Royal Canadian Air Force.
High Flight
Oh, I have slipped the surly
bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on
laughter-silvered wings:
Sunward I’ve climbed, and
joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds-and done
a hundred things
You have not dreamed of-
wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence:
hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shoutingwind
along, and flung
My eager craft through foot-
less halls of air
Up, the long, delirious
burning blue
I’ve topped the windswept
heights with easy grace
Where never lark,or even
eagle flew-
And, while the silent lifting
mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed
sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched
the face of God.
Our deepest sympathy to you all at this sad time.

Theresa, Chanel & Chase-
We met your family years ago when our kids were in swim lessons together at Highline Fitness in Burien. It’s been a long time, but Pat and Scott hit it off and really enjoyed talking while the kids swam. Pat was so personable and friendly, someone you would never forget. We are so sorry. You’re on our prayer list.

When I read out loud the news of Pat’s passing my wife said “who was he?” My first words describing Pat were gentleman and great guy. Pat and I flew together in the Air Force Reserves many flights until the late 90’s. Then we paired up in the 737 several more times at Alaska Airlines. He was a real man. God bless you.
