Age 75 Her parents were Phillip Novak and Pauline (German) Novak. Patsy died on April 5, 2018. Born in Coeur d’Alene Idaho on March 9, 1943, grew up and went through school and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1961. Soon after graduation she moved to Seattle to find a job. When she first arrived here she lived with her step sister and soon found a job at the Boeing Co. as a tool room clerk. She worked at Boeing for about three years. In the summer of 1962 she met George Giboney, a machinist apprentice at the Boeing Co. Patsy loved western music and loved to dance. Pat and George were married on May 15th 1965. After they were married Pat went to work for JC Penney when the South Center Mall first opened and worked there for 2 years. Patsy loved animals and soon after marriage she got a poodle she named Sherry which was the first of many dogs and cats in her life. George continued working at The Boeing Co. until 1968 when he decided to start a machine shop of his own. Soon after Patsy came to work in the office doing payroll, invoicing, paying bills, driving the co. truck (1935 Dodge Pickup) delivering parts and picking up material. She continued those duties until the company was sold in 1999. Her hobbies included (beyond the animals) gardening and bowling (she once bowled a 299) She was also a Campfire Leader for several years. She really loved that. One of the things she enjoyed in the later years was her get together with her bowling buddies once a month. Over the last 15 years Patsy has been a volunteer driver for Senior Services in Seattle which was one of her passions. The last year was a challenge with all the health issues. She was a real trooper to the end.
Memorial service will be held on April 17th at 1:00 pm at Washington Memorial Park and Mortuary, 16445 International Blvd, Sea Tac, WA 09188. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations, in Patsy’s honor, to the Northwest Kidney Center
Pat was a wonderful woman. She was kind and caring. I am so greatful I got to know her. I think of her often and I will miss her greatly. No more suffering only peace now.
Pat was a WONDERFUL FRIEND!!! She will be MISSED!!! I’m proud to be one of the “bowling buddies” and have MANY GREAT MEMORIES with Pat, bowling, traveling and our FUN get togethers! With Deepest Sympathy.
Patsy and I have been friends since 6th grade,we had a lot of fun I high school,I will treasured all those wonderful memories we had together!i will miss my dear friend,She is out of pain now and no more pain!thank you Lord
Pat was always kind to my sister, Julie, and to me. I remember her fondly. Rest In Peace, Pat.
