Grandma- Thank you so much for the wonderful memories that I have to hold onto!

*Clamdigging in garbage bags in the rain with the waves hitting you in the rear as you try to hold onto your clam and your shovel

*Picking blackberries in the summer

*banging pots on new years eve

*Teaching me to play gin rummy

*snacking on dried pears and carmel corn

*feeding the squirrels off the deck

*hunting for mushrooms in the woods

*noisy family gatherings

*hunting for the big basket at Easter

*Mersey Dotes and dosey dotes and little lambsy divey that I now sing on sunny days

*rummaging through grandma’s special treasure box for a prize

And so much more. A treasure you have left us to hold onto and share with our own children.

Thank you so very much for that.

We love you

Patsy Jean was a treasured matriarch of the Cooper family. She loved all of her family, and we all loved her.

She loved gathering everyone together for a big family reunion. Her presence will be greatly missed.

You will be missed, Patsy Jean. You were a rock in the Cooper family. We are all taking the same path to the same place, you just got there ahead of us. Fond memories will never be forgotten.

Dar n you P.J., who’s going to remind me to drink my hot water and lemon juice every morning? Who’s going to try and keep me on the straight and narrow?

I love you and miss you.

Your “little” cousin, Barb
