Obituary
Our beloved Patti grew up in Magnolia with her parents Phyllis & Ray Palmore, her brother Barry and sister Pam. She had a happy childhood and loved her family very much.
She went to Ballard high and graduated in 76 where she met her high school sweetheart Larry Dizard Sr. Soon there after they married and then were blessed by three loving children Amy Shawn, Larry Jr. Natasha and Matthew.
She took everyone under wings and loved as her own. She was given the precious gift of two beautiful grandchildren Hailey and Larry III.
At age 35 was diagnosed with heart disease, and wasn’t given any odds. But she made the impossible possible. She fought long and hard for 16 years, never gave up and proved their odds wrong.
In our eyes she is our hero. She was beautiful, smart and had a great sense of humor. A heart that never stopped giving. We love you mom we know you’re just up there waiting for us.
In lieu of flowers please contribute to the National Heart Association in honor of Patti Dizard. No Flowers please ‘Girrrlfriend’. Call Amy at 206-683-1693 or Natasha 206-841-1865 regarding service information.
sorry for your lost
Back in the early 1980’s, I had the privilege of meeting both Larry & Patti since they lived down the street from me in Ballard. I was/am a old car guy and they invited me to join their just organized car club, Northwest Street Machines. It was a car club with about 10 – 15 guys and their families, girlfriends just about getting together, entering car shows together, cruising around together…..in other words…IT WAS FUN !! I remember Patti ALWAYS being the gracious host as our club meetings were held at Larry & Patti’s house. She organized car club things, fed us all, kept us in line, all the while raising her kids. I lost contact with Larry & Patti over the years, I should have looked them up. Now today, 8/26/13, I come to find out that Larry had passed recently. I know God will take care of them both, RIP to you both and ” Thank You ! ” for your kindness. Ray Guardiano, Roger Kozber, Eric Berge – Northwest Street Machines
