Paula Lee Sadler

November 29, 1956 - November 12, 2018

Obituary

Paula Sadler, 61, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2018 from a long-standing heart condition. She is with her dear Lord in heaven, along with her mother, Pauline Sadler, and her adoptive father, Hudson Sadler, and her birth-father, Cloyd Slaughter.

Paula loved her family and she was also deeply loved by her children and family.  She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Baer and son-in-law Bjorn, and her son Patrick Ireland, and step son Alexander Ireland and Ron Ireland (who was her husband of many years).  She is survived by a loving sister, Jennie Ostgaard and her husband Doug, and by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Paula gave priority to her children, Rebecca and Patrick, during their childhood becoming a stay-at-home mother.  She found joy in being with them, by cooking for them, teaching them a love for gardening and a love of God. One could always find plentiful and beautiful vegetable gardens at her home in Marysville, WA. One of Paula’s greatest accomplishments was working at Fred Meyer’s for 20 years as their regional horticultural manager.

Paula deeply loved her lord (she is now with him – He who has prepared an eternal home for her). One of her greatest joys was learning the Word through teachers such as Joyce Myers Ministries.  She loved and participated in her church as a soldier at Salvation Army Church.

Rest Paula- you are at peace. So thankful your passing was peaceful. You are in God’s loving arms-surrounded by people who’ve love you. You are Blessed, on earth and in Heaven. Praying for God’s comfort, for the hurting your passing has caused- for those you’ve left behind.
