PAULINE C. OGREN LARSON

Pauline Blackstone Ogren Larson unexpectedly passed away on July 10, 2009 five days short of her 95th birthday. She was born in Albany, Oregon on July 15, 1914. She graduated from Raymond High School in 1932 and was married to Paul L. Ogren, who preceded her in death in 1957. She was married and divorced from Herb Larson.

She was an avid gardener, talented hand-quilter, and enjoyed a life of music from a very young age. She was a gifted pianist well into her eighties. She was always dressed to the ‘nines’ and never owned a pair of jeans.

She was a past Worthy Advisor of the Rainbow for Girls 1932 and active with her daughters in Queen Anne Assembly. She was a sixty-five year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a Past Matron Alderwood Chapter #185, Everett, WA and Gate City Chapter #212, San Bernardino, CA and a member of the Pacific County Historical Society.

She is survived by her daughters Donna Gray Everett, WA; Janet Hineman SeaTac, WA; and Paulette Gerry Bowen of Fairfield, OH; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister Georgia Spencer and two sons-in-law.

Services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Acacia Memorial Park in Seattle Lake City, Washington.
