Obituary
Pearl Olafson Jeffery passed away on February 22, 2009 at the Langland House in Seattle. She was born October 5, 1922 in Grafton, North Dakota. She is preceded in death by her husband William E. Jeffery. She is survived by her son Frederick Jeffery, daughter Patricia Jeffery and son-in-law Gregory Chiodo. Pearl moved to Seattle with her parents and a sister prior to World War II, ultimately settling in Ballard. During World War II she worked for Boeing as a proud ‘Rosie the Riveter’. A loving mother and loyal friend she was kind, generous and always willing to help. She will be deeply missed. Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Wiggens & Sons Funeral Home 2003 N.W. 57th St. in Ballard.
