Obituary
Pearline Sly was born Dec 8, 1931, in Shreveport Louisiana to the union of Booker Sly and Lucille Myles. Pearline moved to Seattle in 1963 after her marriage to Booker T. Marshall and made this her home. She was a great cook and loved to sew.
Pearline had one daughter, Leola, who preceded her in death. But from her roots, there are many leaves. She had over 40+ grand, great grand, and great-great-grandchildren. This soft-spoken voice of life stories and wisdom will truly be missed but never forgotten.
#RIP. Bigmoma your words of wisdom and loving spirit and heart I’ll cherish. You’re in my heart forever.
Thank you for your dedication and genuine love through the years. There are SO many warm feelings that overwhelmed me every time I entered your home. Most of my memories involved food, and as an adult I understand that was one way you reciprocated love. I will always cherish those memories to my heart. I love you Big Momma, no more pain. I know you, Booker, Aunt Ola Mae Granny and Antie are singing and dancing together up there.
