Obituary
Peggy Baron Baldwin, 68, of Kent, WA peacefully passed away in her home, surrounded by family on June 14, 2025.
Peggy was born on the 25th of September 1956 in Rigby, Idaho to Orland and ldonna Baron.
Peggy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Orland and ldonna Baron, as well as Victor and Bonnie Baldwin.
Peggy was the 3rd child of 12 children. She is survived by her husband, David C. Baldwin, and 5 children David Baldwin (Amber), Terri Baldwin, Shannon Kalsi (Jaswinder), Jason Baldwin (Deaun) and Vincent Baldwin (Melissa) and 12 grandchildren and 11 siblings.
From the beginning of her life, animals of all kinds were very important to her. Her dogs were her best friends, but horses were her way of life. Peggy only rode green broke horses with no saddles, no bridal and no shoes on her feet. Her hair flowed behind her when she rode the bare back horses at what seemed to be the speed of light.
On July 19, 1974, she married her eternal companion in the Idaho Falls Temple in Idaho Falls, ID. She later moved to Deer Lodge Montana where she and Dave would begin an amazing life of nearly 51 years. During this time, Peggy attended nursing school and earned her nursing degree as an RN. She began her nursing career at Wyoming State Mental Institution and retired from the King County Jail system after 25 years. During her King County service, she distinguished herself as a superior nurse by participating in saving the life of a fallen guard.
Peggy’s hobbies were knitting, sewing, and embroidery. She excelled in all of those hobbies and made many items for all of her family and many friends. Before her passing, she said that she looked forward to seeing her family on the other side of the veil. Say hi to them, Peggy, for all of us.
