Philip P. Ruiz
Cherished father and beloved brother, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2010 after a long battle with cancer.
He is survived by his two daughters, April Valerie and Kristine May; sisters, Harriet and Mary Joy; brother, Glenn Noel; sister-in-law, Cristina and brother-in-law Robert.
Philip was born June 3, 1947 in Manila, Philippines. He worked for the King County Road Services Division for many years. He enjoyed music, played the drums and was an active member of the St. Anthony’s Prayer Group in Renton.
Philip was a kind-hearted, generous man who brought joy to our lives and will be greatly missed.
Visitation services will be held at Bonney-Watson in SeaTac on April 8 and 9. Funeral Mass will be at the Holy Spirit Parish in Kent on April 10, with burial services at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery following thereafter.
