Obituary
Rae Ann Marvel. 92, of Federal Way, passed away on Tuesday, November 25 at her residence. Rae was born on February 7, 1922 in Puyallup, the oldest of seven children. She was the devoted wife of William Marvel, who passed in 1997, and the loving mother of Jane, William Jr., Michael, Gerald, and Terry. Rae served as an executive secretary at Bendix Corp. and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Federal Way where she taught Sunday School for many years. Rae was also a member of the American Cancer Society. Her greatest attribute was the unconditional love she had for her family. Besides her husband, William, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jane. Survivors include her sons, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Kindra and Rosemarie of Evergreen Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Rae in her remaining days.
My thoughts are with the entire family. Take comfort in the knowledge that your mom is at peace. I am glad I was able to enjoy some good talks with her during the last difficult months. You are all in my thoughts.
