Ralaina Mary Christian
September 13, 1951 - October 22, 2015

Obituary
In loving memory of Ralaina Mary Christian, who passed into eternal life after an enduring battle with breast cancer in Seattle, WA on Thursday, October 22, 2015. She was 64. In her final stage of survivorship she was surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born September 13, 1951 in Columbus, GA. She will be remembered for her love of writing, films, walking, and always being of help to others. Ralaina attended
Cathedral High School in New York City, NY and Brandeis University in Massachusetts. She served her country in the United States Air Force with honor and pride at Petersen AFB in Colorado Springs, CO.
Ralaina was a person of strong faith and believed deeply in her Catholic beliefs as the foundation for her life. She was a parishioner at many churches including St. Augustine Catholic Church and also worked at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Washington, DC.
Ralaina was a devoted mother. Whether her children were near or far, she thought of them and prayed for them every day. Her conviction to afford the best life for her children remained unshaken, even in the face of hardships.
Ralaina was an amazing second mother to her grandchildren and they affectionately called her Nanna. In her passing, she leaves a legacy of perseverance and dedication to integrity. She is survived by her daughters, her grandchildren, and many loving family members.
In reverence of her faith, a mass will be said at St. Joseph Parish and a traditional Latin mass will be said at the North American Martyrs Parish in Seattle, WA.
