Randy represents the happiest part of my life. My heart and thoughts are with Randy and his family as they always have been.
Randy truly personified the qualities of humility, integrity and understanding. He will always be known for being a highly talented and respected craftsman. He was a champion for the underdog. He was one of those rare individuals that found his niche in life and truly loved what he did. Thanksgiving will never be the same again. Thank you for your friendship. Ride on Randy!!!
I will miss you more than you can imagine my brother. I will see you again so save me a seat. Love you Vince
Thinking of you and missing you! I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Matthias family, which lead me to know you. I have many childhood memories with you in them. Thank you for being a great friend. You are an amazing man and I will remember you always!
I’m so very sorry to hear of Randy’s passing.I had the privilege to work side by side with Randy on many of his rental houses . A very kind man, he will be missed.
I first met Randy when he was 18. I was impressed with his easy going good nature and sense of humor. I knew he was going to be a friend for life. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss.
There will be a hole in my life without my younger brother. There are too many qualities that I don’t think I could even begin to fill them in this 1000 allowed characters on this website. I’ll miss him dearly.
Randy~
You will be missed by so many! We loved you enough to ask you to be Godfather to our son Anthony and we laugh so hard when we recall finding you sound asleep on our living room floor the morning after our wedding…thank you for sharing those moments with us. We smile when we think of celebrating Thanksgiving at your home and wish that we wouldn’t have been so consumed with our own lives that we missed out on many more wonderful Thanksgivings with you. What a painful but powerful lesson that you have taught us about not taking time for granted. Rest in peace friend.
To Randy’s family…my deepest sympathies…we were fortunate to know and love him.

The memories are so endless, its really hard to choose one that stands out from the rest. From building cabinets in high school wood shop together, to us working on the Cuda, us going on our two week road trip through California and Nevada, to being my sons godfather…and all the many other memories in between, I will cherish them all forever. Randy, I will miss you my old friend, rest in peace until we meet again.
