Obituary
Raymond Deede, 48, of Seattle left us on Friday, April 20th. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Ray was a brilliant and warm soul. He was generous and kind. He had a seemingly limitless wit and was a master of puns. He was the definition of a gentle giant who had a disarming smile and was quick with an embrace. The man was full of love.Ray was an enthusiastic traveler and he relished the spectrum of cultures and natural beauty around the world. He was always game to try something new. Above all else though, he valued relationships and people. He was a deeply principled man. A memorial service for Raymond will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday the 26th of April at All Pilgrims Church at 500 Broadway East in Seattle. He is survived by his adoring husband Aaromi Willette, parents Bill and Diane Mayer, sister Michelle Muck, nephew Dennis Muck and his wife Perla, and his great nephew Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to All Pilgrims Church.
Ray and I started at TMO HQ the same week, I had the pleasure working with Ray on a professional level and also got to know him on a personal level. He was always positive and was a generous fellow. I know he’s with angels above with no more stress… Rest in peace my friend.
Dear Aaromi,
I was so grateful to have brunch with Ray and yourself during your visit to Vancouver Easter long weekend. I got to know Ray when he lived here and became good friends and had great fun. He was there for me when I was going through a rough time in my life and I was glad he was. I will miss him very much. Ray always spoke very highly of his parents, family and you Aaromi. My condolences to you Aaromi, his parents and family.
Best regards
