Obituary
Reely Harrison was born on September 3, 1927 to Early and Annie Laura Harrison in Starkville, Mississippi. He gave his life to Christ at an early age at Sixteen Section Missionary Baptist Church in Starkville.
At age 18, Reely entered the United States Army where he served for 3 years. He served in Japan, the Philippines, Guam, Saipan as well in the United States. After being discharged from the military, he returned to school where he completed high school. He also earned a bachelor’s degree from Alcon A&M College.
After completing school, he moved to St. Louis, MO where he lived for several years. He then moved to the Northwest where he was employed by the Federal Government for over 20 years.
After retiring, he moved to Seattle and united in marriage with Ruth Hall who had two young daughters Ardelle and Cynthia.
Early in the 1980’s he united with People Institutional Baptist Church where he served faithfully. He enjoyed working with the Sunday School.
Reely was preceded in death by his parents Early and Anni Laura Harrison, his wife Ruth Brothers Presley and Thomas and Robert; his sisters Hazel, Juanita, Ruby, Lois and Bernice and his grandchild Leslie Dion Lykes.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Carlene Harris (Riland); two daughters Ardelle Griffin and Cynthia Hall; grandchildren Lacy Lykes, Jamar Hall and Terrell Wiggins; great-grandchild Andrea Colson; great-great-grandchildren Shamil Colson, Jasmin Hall and Khaulani Wiggins and niece Grace Robinson.
