Obituary
Remi H. Claeys, age 84 passed away peacefully on February 25, 2008 in Auburn. Remi is survived by his daughter, Diane Claeys; sons, David Mary, Ken Kate, Paul Katherine and Jim Susan Claeys; seven grandchildren, James, Christopher, Stephen, Joshua, Cole, Tabor and Darby; brother, Maury Susan Claeys and sister-in-law, Sylvia Claeys. Remi was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Yvonne in 1993. Mass will be held at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 30525 – 8th Ave. S., Federal Way, WA Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 10:30 am.

We were in a bowling league with Remi for many years. For the last couple of years we were on the same spring league team with him. We miss him a lot!

I am wondering, if we could be related? My maiden name is also Claeys and I have never seen this name here in the States or in Germany, where I come from. There are a lot of Claeys in Belgian.
