Obituary
Renee Denise Cannon Whitted who was born on June 27, 1953 in New York City, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2008 in Seattle, Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents Ravenlle W. and Doris R. Cannon, and aunts Lillian L. Payne and Mildred E. Daniels.
Renee completed her general education at Bronx Public Schools. Renee loved and cared for children and moved to Seattle, Washington in December 2007 to be with family and continue her medical care at Leon Sullivan Center.
Although Renee was only here a short time we spent many happy moments together. Today she leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving great aunt Patricia Butler, and cousins Victor and Victoria Butler
I will always remember Renee letting me spend the night at her place when I came to visit NY and she was my chaperone. Renee was my life line and educator to help guide my way and to give me shelter in a fast paced, and hectic NY when I visited the city.
All I could ever remember about Renee is the magic moments we shared walking the streets of New York in the Winter and the Summer, and playing cards with her friends. One year I tried to get Renee to go to the Park with me and visit, relax and share the sights and sounds but she wouldn’t do it but know I can understand her pain. The next time I saw Renee everything had changed so much. But I still loved her just a much as before and I know now that she is free from the pain she was going through. Bye Renee I will always love and miss you. You shared a special place in my heart.
