Reynaldo Marquez MERCED
1962 – 2002, Beloved son of Ildefonso and Lucila Merced; brother of Jorge Coco Merced, Ed Emily Merced, Susan Ben Noche, Russell Beth Merced, Bobby Nanette Merced, Allan Irene Merced and Art Vickie Merced and uncle of Janssen, Jason, Brian, Riley, Ryan, Edward, Tonton, Robbie, Bigaboy, A.J., Alex, Sherrieann, Ethel, Christy, Alexis and Angela.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our godson, Rey.
He leaves wonderful memories we will cherish for a lifetime. He is in our prayers.

It’s so many memories. That me & Rey share together. He is 1 of the best buddies.He was funniest guy to be with.

When we moved here from the Philippines the Merced’s are one of the first family I met. They are always accomodating and warm. They made me feel like I’m part of their family. I will always cherish those times.
I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Rey. He will be missed. We will keep Rey and your entire family in our thoughts and in our prayers.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Rey Ngaw-Ngaw, one of my best friend. I’ve known Rey for over 20 years and we’ve shared a lot of memmories together when we were barkadas. He is one of the funniest guy i’ve ever met, even though sometimes he’s a little loko but he is the guy you wanna be arround with when it comes to having fun. I always have that special memmory with Rey, he was a true friend. Our prayers goes out to the Merced Family. God Bless Your Soul Ngaw Ngaw, Rest In Peace.

I’ve known Rey since the 80’s, he was loud and makulit. I enjoyed hanging out with him . He could make anybody laugh. He used to give me advise, we’d sit and talk and laugh …….

Rey’s name comes up regularly during my conversation with his sister Susan. She loves him so much and has been praying for him constantly. With this, I believe that Rey knew that he was never alone and was always loved. My heartfelt condolonces to the whole family. I will remember you all in my prayers.

Our heartfelt condolences.
My condolences to Rey’s family. My cousins, Zaldy and Lizette Patawaran, and I knew Rey while we were in high school. We attended a dance together at Rainier Beach High School. We did not keep in touch over the years I live in Canada now but I have some nice high school memories of Rey. He was a sweet guy. He left this world much too early. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace my friend! I am so sorry I was not there to say my goodbye since I just found out now. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Merced Family, I will always remember you and your brothers helping me in fixing my Cutlass Supreme to become a low rider. Those were the days.
