We’ve had the pleasure of being your neighbors for 20 years, and coming to know Rick as a gentle soul; always caring of his family first. We are so sorry for your loss, and hope that you find comfort in the best memories of his vibrant life.

“Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.”

-Richard Bach

No words are available to express the sorrow that has engulfed so many lives. I have so many memories of Ricky… 40 yrs. worth! No matter what you and I did over the years, Ricky was there; either shaking his head in disbelief or laughing!! Remember telling him about the golf balls we threw off the balcony onto the course and hearing the players argue about their ball being closest to the hole?? Or telling the woman in the apartment below ours that our pet boa had escaped and she was afraid it was going to show up in her toilet or bathtub?

However, I think the one he got the biggest charge out of was when we got the sign on I5 for Chrissy! That one left him almost speechless!!

Because of you, Ricky was a major influence in my life and will be missed so much. Thank you Linnie for bringing him into my life….he was such a wonderful man!!

Love to you and Beth and I will see you on the 13th.

Dear Linda, Beth, Matt, Janine, Nikki, Jess and Amanda: Grandpa Rick will be missed greatly–by all. I feel fortunate to have known him, and that I was able to see him so recently. He was always very generous and kind to me and Amanda. It brought tears to my eyes that you listed Amanda–thank you. For her, you are Grandma, Aunts, Dad, sisters and he was Grandpa. I know this will leave a big hole in your lives, but hopefully your memories will help fill the void. My heartfelt prayers and embracing hugs go out to all of you.
