Richard Sigurdur Sigurdson
Richard passed away February 5th 2016, in Kent, WA, at the age of 80. He was surrounded by his children. He was born November 26, 1935 in Cavalier North Dakota to Sigurdur and Martha Sigurdson.
Richard is survived by his son Mark Sigurdson (Maria Neve) and daughter Dawn Marie Shirron (Paul) and 4 grandchildren.
Richard moved to Seattle at the age of six with his family. Richard graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle. Richard retired from the Boeing Co, after 38 years of service. Richard loved camping and motorcycling as well as repairing cars.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at 12:00 noon and will be conducted at Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA.

Dick and I were fellow Managers at the Boeing Company at Plant II, during the 1970’s thru 1990’s period, he was a very loyal and hard working individual that I admired, as time went on we became friends and he often talked of his Family and his love of them. So sorry for his passing, he will be greatly missed.
To Dawn and Mark – so sorry to read of your father’s passing. We loved all of you as our neighbors on Beacon Hill. Know that my prayers and thoughts of sympathy are with you.
