Robert “Bob” Ingram was born January 24th, 1940 in Grand Junction, CO to Elmer “Ras” & Freda Ingram. Bob passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2016 with his wife “Cookie” by his side. After leaving the Navy in 1966, he worked for the Government in Denver, CO and then on to Seattle in September 1968. Bob received many honors and promotions throughout his career. He retired as the Chief of the Contract Management Division in 1996 with over 30 years working as a Government employee. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved taking his grandsons, Rylan and Colton, to baseball, soccer, and Kung Fu when they were younger and being a part of their lives as they grew into young men. Most importantly, Bob had time to fish with his Son and Grandsons.
He is survived by his wife Neola “Cookie” of 51 years, his son Thane and wife Heather, their sons Rylan and Colton. He has an aunt and cousins in Colorado.

Sending your family my deepest condolences. Bob was well liked by so many including me. I will really miss his warmth and his good conversations.
So long, dear friend,
Doug
Rest in Peace.
You were such a fine man to work with (1970’s).
So proud when you had Thane as your son, and you loved Cookie so much.
It was a true pleasure to work with and for Bob at the AFPRO-Boeing. His dedication, contracting knowledge and professionalism were iconic in the organization. Our blessings to his family.
I enjoyed working with Bob during my tenure at the AFPRO. He had a great sense of humor and was always available when needing support on “sticky” issues we encountered from time to time. It was a pleasure working with Bob and he will always be remembered as a true professional.
We both enjoyed working with Bob from 1972 through his retirement. He was a great teacher and great leader. Besides that he was a lot to fun to work alongside. His filing system was probably the most unique in all of Government contracting, but he never failed to find the right document in the right pile in his office. Even after retirement it was nice to meet up with Bob and Cookie and catch up on how family and friends were doing. Bob we will miss you.
May God be ever present in your healing of such a loss.
Bob and Cookie have been great neighbors for the last 31 years, we would go on vacation and simply give Bob our key and he would get our mail and keep an eye on our home, He would tease and say that if somebody broke into our home he would make sure they took everything to cover our deductible, We had many great conversations. We will certainly miss him,
Bob, you were one of the great ones and I really enjoyed working with you and learning from you at the AFPRO. You knew more about Government contracting than anyone I knew and you taught me well. My very best to Cookie and your family at this time. You will be greatly missed’
We are so very sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Blessings to Cookie and All the family We loved Bob and we will remember the good times at our gatherings and picnics and watching Sea Hawks Games Together!! We will see you Sunday. Prayers to All.
Bob started out as my boss when I worked with him at the AFPRO. When I left there we remained friends through the years and he became like a dad to me. He came to family events of ours and was always a pleasure to be around. I will miss talking to him on the phone and talking to him in person. I loved Bob so much and he will truly be missed!!!
Bob and I served together on the USS Fletcher in the Navy during 1964 and 1965. He was the senior Ensign while I was the junior, or Boot, Ensign in 1964. He was a solid guy and a great shipmate. Bob was universally liked and respected by the officers and men of the Fletcher. That is high praise indeed. Fortune did smile as I got reconnected in 2015 and 2016 with Bob prior to his death. He made an impact wherever he went. May he rest in peace.
