Robert E. Cranmer
Born April 8th 1961 Died November 17th 2010.
Robert was raised in Tacoma, Washington in 1961 by Robert Bob and Erika T. Cranmer. He attended Tacoma Baptist high school.
Robert has an older brother, Tom Wright, and a younger sister, Karen Hague. He worked at Tacoma Screw when he moved to Bellevue, WA with his friend Tom Norton from high school. He met April Johnson at CW Brown, an arcade in Redmond, WA, during her senior year in high school.
We were married January 1st 1983. We lived in Bellevue before moving back to Redmond, where we lived until 2009. Then we moved to Federal Way. He has four children Roy, Amanda, Andrew and Lance. Robert enjoyed reading sci-fi, fantasy and mystery books. As a teen he enjoyed watching Star Trek. He was certified as a scuba diver and enjoys fishing, crabbing and bowling. He also enjoys model trains and model rockets. He was working at ACS in Federal Way where he made many friends.
Robert enjoyed driving to new places just to see what was there. He had the best sense of direction; he never got lost even if he had never been to a place, he could easily find his way around and make it to a place he would recognize. He enjoyed playing different types of games with the family and watching shows on TV, or going to the movie theater.
Robert attended Cascadia College where is earned his degree in AAS, computer net working and web design in 2000- 2006 and moved onto University of Phoenix where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business information and technology in 2005-2007 and then went to Keller graduate school where he earned his master’s in Business Information and Technology 2007-2009 then he moved onto DeVry university and attained his master’s degree in Business Information and Technology in 2007-2010.
Robert enjoyed learning new things and was very accomplished working with and on computers. He was very mechanically inclined and always kept the family cars in very good shape. He was also an accomplished locksmith.
Robert is survived by his wife; April, daughter; Amanda, and sons; Roy, Andy and Lance. His mother; Erika, brother; Tom, and sister; Karen. Robert was a beloved husband, father, friend, son and brother whom will be dearly missed by everyone.

My sincere condolences to you all, may it help to know that we are thinking of you all in this difficult time and hoping you will find some strength for each day.
God be with you all.

Uncle Robert was always great at making everyone laugh. I tell you, as my 25th birthday approaches, I will miss the phone call from him ever so much. I hold close great memories of Holidays, shopping, and more with Uncle Robert. I will miss him dearly and hope that he and Poppop in heaven will have joy being together as father and son.
I attended junior high and high school with Robert. Because both of our last names started with ‘C’, it seems we were always seated alphabetically near each other for all those years. Robert had an intelligence that I think most of us didn’t understand or appreciate until we were much older. I also remember his quick wit and love for all things sci-fi.
April and family, we are praying for you and I’m so sorry for your loss. I know Robert will be greatly missed. I pray that God’s unending peace and the comfort that only His Holy Spirit can give will be with you.
I am so sorry for your loss, words just are not enough. Please know that I am praying for all of you at this time, and wish peace for each of you.
We will be praying for your family. So sorry.
I remember the times when Robert helped me with my car when it was either broken down or stuck in the snow.
Robert will be missed
My condolences to the entire family on your loss. Went to school with Robert for several years and know he will be missed. Thank God for his saving Grace and we will see him again in heaven! So awesome to think Robert is seeing Jesus right now!
