Robert (Bob) Harper Harris, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
Born on December 23, 1931 to Charles and Helen Harper Harris, Bob grew up and lived in West Seattle his entire life. Bob was preceded by his parents and his brother, Warren Charles Harris. Bob is also survived by his sister Marilyn Whittendale and family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Harris and sister-in-law Jean Langdon and family. Bob and Sylvia had 6 children together. The children with their families include Cynthia and Greg Golden, Linda Strazzara, Michael and Jani Harris, Ann and Mychael Kinzel, Betsy and Pat Patterson, and Paul and Tina Harris. He was the proud Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way.
Bob served in the US Army, and after honorable discharge, began his married life with Sylvia for the next 66 years. He worked for The Boeing Company and retired after 35 years. He was a dedicated volunteer for many years at his church, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, the USO and the West Seattle Senior Center. He pursued his love of skiing, golf, travel and gardening. Bob loved people and telling stories. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Sylvia, Linda, Cindy and all– I am so very sorry to learn that Bob has passed away.
I have very fond memories of the Harris household and the time spent there as a youngster.
I know that you will all be strong and supportive of each other and will share and cherish your memories.
