Obituary
Robert K. Pade died on February 16th at the age of 87. Mr. Pade, who had been a resident of the Seattle area since 1964, was born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 20, 1923, the son of William Fabian Pade and Bessie McCormick Pade.
An Aeronautical Engineering graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Pade retired in 1989 after 30 years as a Flight Test Engineer with the Boeing Co. and 8 years with Chance-Vought Aircraft.
He was an Army Air Force veteran, having trained and served as a pilot 1st Lieutenant in the Atlantic Division Air Transport Command during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Earl and Bill and his former wife of 26 years, Doris. He is survived by his son Gerald, his daughter Sabina, his niece Patty, and his nephews Bill, Thomas and Brad.
I didn’t personally know Mr Pade but
I still wanted to give my regards to
the family. In times of loss and sorrow, the scriptures can provide
comfort for our grieving hearts. An
encouraging thought is found at John
5:28-“Do not marvel at this because
the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus’ voice and come out…”
