Robert Oliver Minnick, age 77, passed away in Renton, Washington on January 18th, 2018. Robert was born to Jessie and Evelyn Minnick on October 31st, 1940 in Newport Washington. Robert graduated from West Seattle, High school, served in the miltary, and worked many years as a Maintenance Worker. Robert loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and camper. He was a considerate and caring person, whom will be forever missed. Robert is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Marsh.
I meet Robert at lake Concully on a camping trip with the family. We camped at the spot right next to him as my kids fish from the bank. Many mornings I would wake up to find my son sitting out there with Robert fishing and talking. We will try to schedule our camping trips at the same time. He felt like one of the family members. My condolences to the family.
Tiny was a dear friend who I will miss very much. He was caring and loved to watch football every Sunday at the neighborhood Tavern with the rest of us. He is now out of pain and with a lot of family and friends in heaven. RIP Tiny.
Robert Oliver Minnick was also survived by his Daughter Mary Christne O’Neal and three Grandsons.
