Obituary
Robert Unser passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 24, 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer and emphysema. Born June 5, 1941 in Bismarck, North Dakota to George and Anna Unser. He is survived by his wife, Roberta, his daughters, Debra Alan Draper, Krista Billy Baltera, step-sons, Joe Christy Crandall, Mike Ronna Crandall, Mark Crandall, as well as many grandchildren and great grand children, his brothers, Joseph Marge Unser, Wendelin ‘Buck’ Carolita Unser, sister, Anna ‘Dolly’ Eugene Smith along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany, Vietnam, and Panama. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles organization. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, playing card games and going to the casinos. A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Monday, November, 10 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, Seatac, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, Center, 1100 Fairview Ave N, Seattle WA 98109 or Highline Cancer Center 16233 Sylvester road SW Burien, WA 98166

I can’t believe that a year is almost among us. I’m truly sorry for the way things ended. I guess I’m my Father’s Daughter, STUBBORN! I hope you are at peace and enjoying the fishing! I love you Daddy always have!

Robert made the BEST sturgeon on the planet and was so generous about sharing it. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor. Robert will always remain part of our hearts. And to those of you who are grieving his passing, I hope you find comfort in the memories of a loving man.

Hey Bobbie we are so sorry to hear about Bob but know he is in a better place now and at peace…..
He sure made us laugh with his crazy jokes….You take care of yourself now and hope to see you soon……
when ever i missed going to high school bowling practice, i would go later during the day, and my uncle bob will be there bowling on his league. well when ever i got stuck on trying to figure out the lanes, he will give me tips on where and how to throw the ball.
so sorry for your loss.But he is not hurting any more. we had alot of fun through the years.your in our prayers we love you.
