Bob,
It sure doesn’t seem like forty one years have gone by since we first met, but it has. You made me feel like part of the family when we first met and I still feel like part of the family today. You and Eileen raised two lovely daughters and for that you will never be forgotten and will always be blessed. I’ll never forget you my friend and I pray you have found “Your Place in Heaven” that God reserved for you. I love you Bob, I just wish I could have told you one more time before you passed. I’ll remain close to the family and keep an eye out on them for you. I’ll look for you when I join you heaven.
Your Friend,
Michael
Dad,
Your ‘tribe’ as you called us – Mom, Susan, Tim and I – miss you. We always will. But we must let go and give you to Our Lord. Still, it is never easy to say good-bye.
Know that we love you, Dad and thank you for giving us all we ever wanted or needed.
Our family years together are full of warm memories to comfort and console us:
raising beagle, Sox and three Shelties, Maly I, Maly II, Maly III, vacation road trips to visit Grandma and Grandpa Miotke in San Lorenzo, California, weekly organ lessons with Mr. Lunsford, Sunday picnic drives to Long Lake in Port Orchard, Christmas gatherings around our beautifully decorated trees, driving lessons with you for licenses, family celebrations. These were the best of times.
Now we move on without you, but you are never forgotten in our hearts. For I do believe that you, Sox and the three Malys are in heaven, waiting for all of us to play ball together again.
Love,
Your number 1 twin daughter,
Ann
Mr. Miotke,
Even though I talked with you only once, for some time you have been in my thoughts and my prayers to finally find peace. You have left behind a lovely wife and two wonderful daughters for which you were very proud. Sometimes it’s hard to openly show how much we care about one another, but I know the memories you created with them were the good times and will always be in their hearts and their memories of you. Rest in peace.
Dad, it is so very hard to see you leave us. Know that Mom, Tim, Ann and I love you dearly. You will be in our hearts forever.
I will always remember riding the “big blue bicycle” that you and Grandpa quietly built one late Christmas Eve in the living room. Of course there were 2 identical blue bikes to put together, not just one. The day I flew around our corner and crashed into all the loose gravel you came running out and scooped me up in your arms! Now there is a Great Great Dad to the rescue! Thank you for all you did for us!
Your loving Number “2” Twin Susan
