Obituary
Robert W. Hanneman
12-5-1929 to 12-18-2006 Bob was born to Walter and Edna Hannemann at home in Parkston and passed away peacefully in his sleep in Burien, Washington. He missed his wife Doris Konze terribly after she died in March of this year and was happily reunited with her in Heaven on what would have been their 56th anniversary. Bob graduated from Parkston High School in 1947 and pitched for several baseball teams in the Dimock area. He joined the Marine Corps and served in Korea. We moved to Arizona in 1959 where Dad started his career with Arizona Feeds managing hog and poultry growing operations. He retired from there is 1986 and followed his dream of becoming a commodity broker. In 1997 they moved back to Mitchell to help care for ill relatives. After losing his wife, he moved out to Seattle to be near his children Joyce Bob Shoemaker and Jerry Christine and grandchildren; Korey, Jason, Tara and Kelly and great grandchildren William, Aidan and Zoey. He rests now in the arms of his maker and Redeemer but we will miss his kindness and gentleness greatly. At his request he will be cremated and placed with his wife in a companion urn. A private service will be held after the first of the year at Joyce’s church, Our Savior Lutheran Church in Issaquah. Please send all remembrances to a charity of your choice in Bob’s name.
