Obituary
Rodolfo Magsalin Masangkay, lovingly known as “Boy” to close family and “Rudy” to dear friends, was unexpectedly called to eternal rest on January 10, 2024. He was 72 years old.
Born on December 1, 1951 to parents the late Alfonso Masangkay and the late Purita (Magsalin) in Manila, Philippines where he grew up. Later in life relocating to the United States with his wife, together they built a beautiful life with their family in Seattle, Washington.
Rodolfo is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Asiatica “Chit” Masangkay; their son John Paul and daughter in law Sannie (Leonen); their daughter Maria Louisa, son in law Christian (Sindayen); their son Jason; and their two precious grandchildren Saint (Sindayen) & Sistine (Sindayen). In addition, Rodolfo is survived by his two younger sisters, younger brother, extended family including many nieces and nephews who he loved and treated as his own.
A Well Respected and Dignified Man, Devout Catholic, Loving Husband, Dedicated Father, Adoring Grandfather, Caring Family Member, and Loyal and Reliable Friend- Rodolfo was full of class, one of a kind, and will be forever remembered and dearly missed.
