I knew Ron for 6 years. He was a dedicated professional at work and a decent human being. It is a shame that he was only able to enjoy 3 months of retirement.

Ron was lovely, a real gentleman to work with, who had a great sense of humour.

We’ve really missed him here at Warton.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron for the past

four years in England. We shared many lunchtimes

together where I greatly enjoyed his dry sense of

humour and directness. He has been missed in

retirement and will be even more so in death. My

most sincere condolences to his family.

Very, very sad to hear about Ron, particularly as I did not get a chance to say goodbye to him in person when he retired. A much respected colleague and altogether nice guy.

It is so rare to meet someone who is such a genuinely nice guy and such a pleasure to work with. What a sad loss to all who knew Ron.

Ron and I worked together alot in England. I know that he was looking forward to retiring from Boeing and leaving England. His life was fuller becauses of his experience in the UK and Europe. Our family is saddened for his lose.

I knew Ron during the 4 1/2 years I spent in the UK. He and I came back to the US at about the same time in June and July. I’m really sorry to hear of his passing. I had hoped to see him again sometime back in the Seattle area. I enjoyed working with Ron.

Ron and I ate lunch together in England for nearly six years. I retired about five months before Ron. We kept in touch since then. The last message I had from him, he was vacationing at a cabin in Canada. He said, life can’t be any better than this!

I’ll miss him greatly!

Ron and I worked together in England, Seattle and Florida. One of my favorite memories is deep sea fishing off the coast of Florida with Ron and a group of friends. Ron enjoyed fishing more than anyone I’ve ever known. I remember him standing in an absolute downpour of rain, coaching me on how to land my fish! Our paths crossed because of work; I respected Ron as a co-worker but more importantly, he was a friend. I will miss him.
