Obituary
Ronald (Ronnie) Sherwin Turner was born to Ocie and Marjorie Turner on November 23, 1963 in Seattle, Washington. He was the third child of their four children.
Ronnie graduated from Rainier Beach High School and attended Seattle Community College for two years. He joined Peoples Institutional Baptist Church and was baptized by Rev. E.W. Bratton. Under Rev. Davenport’s pastorage, he and the pastor teased each other and agreed that Ronnie was a “Mother’s Day” member. Pastor Davenport always told Ronnie “I’ll see you next Mother’s Day.” They both would have a big moment of laughter. Ronnie was very kind and always made an effort to speak to everyone and shake hands when he did attend church. He never complained about his illness, loved his family dearly and knew that Mom & Dad would be there for him.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his parents: Ocie & Marjorie Turner; brother: Carlton & wife Loretta; sisters: LaRayne & Cheryl; nieces: Christina, Cathleen and Milaya; aunts: Eddie Mae, Earlene, Roberta, Dorothy, Mary & Sweet; two great-aunts, one great-uncle; many cousins and friends of his and the family.
We will all miss him. May he rest in peace.
“In the sweet by and by, We shall meet on the beautiful shore. In the sweet by and by we shall meet on that beautiful shore.” – J.P. Webster
