Obituary
Rosa Duran age 29, was born in Seattle Washington on Tuesday, May 27, 1980 at 6:11am just after the eruption on Mount Saint Helen and passed away in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday December 05, 2009. Rosa is survived by her Mother, Josefina A. Galindo Victor A. Cordova; Father, Albert J. Duran; Son, Xavier Albert Street born Thanksgiving Day November 27, 2008; Brother, Vincent Alexander Cordova; Grandmother, Aurora Ariza; Grandfather/mother, Albert Sr and Carol Duran; numerous Uncles, Aunts Cousins Relatives and Friends that span Mexico, California, Washington and Canada.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm and the Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at BONNY-WATSON Funeral Home, 1535 South West Dash Point Road, Federal Way, Washington 98023 253 839-7317. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 7:00 pm at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 30525 8th Avenue S, Federal Way, Washington 98023 253 839-2320 with a reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
Private committal services will be held at a later date.
I knew Rosa bach in high school. I am truly sorry for your tragic loss. Your family will be in my prayers. God Bless.

I had the occasion to work briefly with Rosa on a cross sale. She was helping out her friend Tim Cole on his listing when he was out of the country. At all times Rosa was a professional. She was very helpful and sweet and I am very sorry for your loss. This is very upsetting to the real estate community. She was one of ours and she will be missed. Thank you.

I still find myself numb and without words. We have so many memories growing up…. I love you, you were taken too soon! The beautiful woman you are lives thru you in your son and I will miss you soo much. The memories I hold close to my heart! Rest in Peace Beautiful Angel… God must have needed you more than we did :

I had the opportunity to work with Rosa, at EQC. Although, your stay here was short, you were able to impact and touch so many of our lives as co-workers, and utimately as friends. Personally, you inspired me to make the jump and become a real estate agent. Your fun-loving attitude and infectious smile helped make coming to work and hanging out a blast. We’ve lost a dear friend in you Rosa, but God’s gained an angel.

I’ve met many of you at Rosas’s baby shower and at the hospital when Xavier was born. We worked at Eqc for 3 years together, she lived next door to me in puyallup, I was the first of her friends to hold Xavier in the hospital. So many memories to hold on to.. I pray for you all, especially little Xavier. God bless.

Rosa was a beautiful young woman. She was a dear friend to my Daughter Amy Garcia. They were also co-workers. I remember them laughing and joking and having lots of fun. Amy and Rosa stopped by my house a few years at Christmas on their way to work to get something to eat and to see my Grandson Nathan. He loved Rosa and called her Tia Rosa. She will be missed by all of her friends, Family and especially her little boy. Bless you Rosa. Our love….

I’ll always remember you beating up your tio, pulling on my hair, my nose, and knocking on my head. Even naming your pets after me. You were full of energy, life, love and joy.
We love you and know that Xavier will grow up knowing how special you were. We will take care of him and tell him all the wonderful things about you.
Its hard for us that you are gone but the love and joy you showed us all makes us strong. They say God has a plan for us and we all will be together again one day.
