Homegoing Service: March 8, 2021-2:00 pm @ Tahoma National Cemetery

Services conducted by: Pastor Marvon Pierce

Rose Marie Scott was the middle child of Willie W. Sr. and Rose Mary Lollie.

Rose Marie was affectionately called Ducky by her family and close friends.  She was very, very giving and had a heart for all people in need.  She freely gave of whatever she had, including her time, to assist anyone in need of material, emotional, or spiritual help.

Rose Marie truly loved the Lord.  She devoted her adult life to serving the Lord in any capacity that she could.  She regularly read her Bible and witnessed to family, friends and strangers about the goodness of the Lord.  Strangers seem to seek her out of a crowd, and she would always minister to them even to the point of inviting them into her home.

Rose Marie grew up attending New Hope Baptist Church with her family.  She later attended Paradise Baptist Church and Evangelistic Center Church of God with her Mother. When her Mother passed, she moved to St. Paul Baptist Church.  She appreciated Pastor Booker Kindred, Jr. and Pastor Claudell Warren for all the spiritual growth she received from them while attending their churches and for their continued contact and prayers. She appreciated her continued spiritual growth under Pastor Marvon Pierce.

She leaves to mourn the following: her brother Willie W. Lollie, Jr. (Peggy) and her sister, Diane L. Burrell.  Also, her adopted brother and sister, Evangelist Eddie and Alice Johnson.  Her loving and very close Aunt Vernell Walker, who loved and cared for her deeply.  Also, a host of loving family members in Seattle and various other states (aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, great cousins, nieces and nephews).  She also, had many friends, some from childhood.

She will be missed deeply by all, especially her infectious laugh and compassionate nature.

Thank you to all who prayed and cared about Rose Marie.  Special thanks to Virginia Shields for her loving care and concern.
