Ruben had a passion for watchmaking, fishing and carpentry. He was a watchmaker at Ben Bridge Jeweler for over 20 years, until his retirement in summer of 2021. When he wasn’t watchmaking, he would often be out fishing at Ocean Shores on the weekends with his close friends or building something at home. He took great pride in his craftsmanship, even so far that he built his own watchmaking office at home. He also enjoyed karaoke, road trips and bowling with his beloved wife.
Ruben was a devout Jehovah’s Witness member of the Cascade Tagalog congregation in Renton, WA for many years. As a faithful Jehovah’s servant, he has a hope in the resurrection as Acts 24:15 says: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
