Thank you for letting me know of Ruby’s passing. My parents, Warren and Judy Cash Rider proceeded Ruby in death, but I know both thought a lot of J. D. and Ruby.

It is with much sadness that I write this. Ruby was very special to me, and always brought great joy to my office. One funny memory I have was when I played the piano at Christmas time (at the senior housing she lived in). While everyone else seemed to love the Christmas music, she just wanted me to play “Boogie- Woogie”. This still makes me smile. Thoughts and prayers to her wonderful family.

My husband and I raised our 2 boys across the street from JD and Ruby for 13 years. I appreciated the extra attention given by each of them as our boys became teenagers and had all their friends over. Ruby appreciated that we raised them to have a place they could go to keep all the kids out of trouble. Even though the music coming from the garage at times was very loud it was a safe place for the kids. I enjoyed talking with Ruby about Church and my activities and my husband enjoyed talking with JD about life.
We are still very grateful to have had wonderful neighbors like them. They both will forever be in our hearts.Ruby you were always in my thoughts and prayers.
