Ruth B. Thody ‘Bootsie’ of Shorewood, Burien passed away November 12th at home accompanied by her significant other. Ruth was 97 years old, born to Nels & Elizabeth Nielsen March 12, 1911. Ruth attended WSU and graduated from Seattle University with a degree in business administration. She served 43 years with PNB and retired from the Right of Way Dept. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, 11/22/08 at 12:30 pm at BONNEY-WATSON Parker Chapel, 900 SW 146th St., Burien, WA. 206 244-2320. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pasada Animal Safe Haven.

The information is incorrect on Ruth Thrody. Her parent were Nels Nelson and Winnifred Keeley Nelson. Her nick name was Boots! She was my dad’s cousin.
