Obituary

Ruth C. Addison was born in Portland, Oregon on July 22, 1933.  She was the oldest child of Hille and Martha Lahti and was raised in Brownsmead.

She moved to Seattle in the 1950’s where she met, then married Joseph Addison in 1961.  They had 2 daughters, Diane Addison-Martin and Elaine Addison.  They were married for nearly 50 years before Joseph passed away in July 2011. 

She is survived by her daughters Diane Addison-Martin and Elaine Addison, grandsons Joseph Martin, Joshua Martin and wife Shauna, and John-Joseph Cave, and great grandchildren Andi Townsend, Dean Bush, and Jayce Martin.

Ruth passed away in Tacoma, Washington on December 6^th, at the age of 88.

You will be greatly missed Aunt Ruth!! I feel so blessed to have known you my whole life! I will miss your precious Christmas cards every year!
Diane and Elaine and family , I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you continuously. I’m so sorry I can’t make it right now but I hope to see you in the spring. I love you ! Kelly and Donald
