RUTH ELAINE HUNTLEY
12-13-1919 – 3-26-2010
Ruth survived her husband of 68 years by only five months before she left her loving family to join him and her Lord. She is survived by her three daughters, Charlotte Corbley, Mary Anne Huntley and Sandra Frank Sposari and four grandchildren, Christine, Michael, Sean and Sarah husband, Jacob.
Born in Moscow, Idaho, she grew up in Oregon and Arkansas. Ruth graduated from Henderson State College with degrees in music and education. After WWII, she moved with her husband to Seattle and began her family and resumed her career teaching elementary education. She retired after 28 years in the Highline School District.
Ruth was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. We the family could have wished for none better. She loved her church, her family, travel, gardening and reading. She has enriched our lives beyond measure.
A memorial service will be at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church, 15003 14th Ave. S.W., Burien on April 10th, at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Lake Burien Presbyterian Memorial Fund.
