Obituary
Sabas ”Bob” A. Asis was born on December 5, 1920, Honolulu, Hawaii to Genaro and Alberta Alcoy. After a long illness, he was called home by his savior on March 10, 2006. Sabas was a devoted husband, father and a generous, kind hearted man. He was preceded in death by his sisters Dolly, Rosalie and brother Angel. He is survived by wife Josefina, son Dennis, sisters Inocencia Terry, Rebecca, brother Balleriano and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Sabas served as a Squad Leader in World War II for the ”Alamo Scouts”, Sixth Army in the Pacific Theater. He was decorated with a Purple Heart, Silver and Bronze Stars, Philippine Liberation Ribbon and the Asiatic Pacific and American Campaign medals.
A viewing will be on Thursday, March 16. A Vigil Rosary on Friday, 5:30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 18th at 10am. All services will be held at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787.
