Obituary
Salvador Miguel Cotto was born January 10, 2011 in Seattle, Washington. Sal brought much love and joy to all. He loved slurping on his fingers and chewing on anything and everything. Big brother Clemente called him ‘Sal-Sal’. Salvador loved to listen to his Da-Da and usually responded with a mischievous grin. He looked like his Mama and he will always be in her heart.
Hey “Sal Sal”! God gave you to us for a just a little while. We all instantly fell in love with you. Heavenly Father knit you together perfectly with your Mama and your Pappa’s love. From your sparkly teddy-bear brown eyes, your cute little button nose, your adorable smile, to your pudgy little fingers . . . we love every inch of you! Your joyful spirit radiated through your delightful giggle, in every squirm and wiggle, and with every sigh and coo. We long to see and hold you again, but until we can, we will hold you in our hearts and in our prayers. We send special balloons up to you to say “Hello” to our special little guardian angel. The Lord has blessed you with angel wings so you can fly like a butterfly through the beautiful heavenly kingdom. We will meet you again one day Sal Sal. Until then, watch over your Mamma, Pappa, and big brother Mente.
I love you!
Aunt Heather

I remember every moment with Salvador, meeting him for the first time – holding him – he always looked right in our eyes and smiled as if he remembered us from somewhere. He was happy and cuddly and beautiful. I will remember Sal forever with love and fondness.
Sal sal I love you. I only got to be with you one time and I loved it. I know you are in my heart forever. I will see you in heaven one day. Sweet Sal,
The first time I met you was the last and there is no price I would not pay to change that. Your pictures always made me smile and melted my heart. You will forever be loved. I hope you are enjoying all the balloons and bubbles Mente has sent your way…
Ahh, what a beautiful body, spirit and soul. I am grateful to have met him and to have held him, and I hold his loved ones in my heart.

Sal-sal, nothing I write, or ever say will come close to expressing how much I love you and will miss you buddy!
Your Puss-in-Boots eyes will be in my thoughts and in my heart forever!

So young, so innocent
So easy to be mad
So small, so precious
So sorry and so sad
So happy, so cute
So little time we had
So loved, so missed
So little time, but glad
Love you buddy! Will miss you so much!

My heart breaks for the family, even as my soul rejoices that little Sal is forever with his Savior, and through Christ we will all be united with him.
You are all in my prayers daily and I love you all very much. May God hold you in his loving arms and give you his strength.
Sending love to Juan, Sara, Mente, and Sal.
Words, however kind,
can’t mend your heartache
but those who care and
share your loss wish you
comfort and peace of mind.
May you find strength
in the love of family
and in the warm embrace
of friends.
Deepest Sympathy <3
Sal, I had the great pleasure of holding you and showing you the beautiful fish in the fishtank at Providence Mount St. Vincent. Your Mama was visiting Aunt Sue at that time. You are a loved child, precious in God’s sight. Blessings of peace, complete joy and everlasting love. We hold your Mama, Da-Da and big brother Mente in our prayers.

Dear Sara, Juan and Mente,
Salvador was a gift to me and to all who met him in his short life. Everyone experienced love coming from him–God shining out from him.
May God continue to give you all strength. I will pray for you always.

Kay

“Perhaps they are not stars,
but rather openings in Heaven
where the Love of our lost ones
pours through and shines down upon
us to let us know they are happy.”
