Obituary
Sam Cummings, age 93, died peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Sam is survived by his daughters Doris Tidwell & Betty (Darrell) Cummings-Hall, sons Raymond (Marilyn) Cummings & Edmund Cummings, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Avery (1997); daughters Delores Gaston & Velma Jean Carpenter; sons Sam Jr., Donald, Ronald, Larry and Billy. Viewing will be Friday, January 20th, 2-5 pm with the Rosary following at 7 pm at BONNEY-WATSON Capitol Hill, 1732 Broadway, Seattle, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, January 21st at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Seattle, WA. Committal will follow at Abbey View Memorial Park, Brier, WA. Reception will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Seattle, WA in Jean Moran Hall following burial. Donations can be made in memory of Sam to Evergreen Hospice Services of Kirkland, WA.
