Thank you Sam for all your advices and all the love that you’ve shared with everyone around you. It’s going to be sad not having you around, coming over after fixing something at the church and ask if dinner’s ready. You sure did bring a lot of joy to a lot of people, especially mom, she’ll sit there and just talk about all the good memories she had with you and then she’ll stare into space and put on her thinking face while her eyes begin to water up. We’ve never pictured everything going this way but God alwayz has a different agenda. Point is, you’re happy and pain free! You’re a lucky man!! You will be greatly missed, but we can’t wait to see you when it’s our time. Say hi to Ben and Papa and my grandma!! I love you Sam!!

I remember the days when they all went to school. They played and joked and sometimes broke the rules. Sam was the oldest of all his siblings who’d soon follow. In each others joys, laughter and love they would wallow. Learning new things even a new language to speak. Far from timid not even close to being meek. Sam led the way not always being right. Just to see and do what was out of Dad’s sight. To experience the world and it’s foretold glory and aspire to return home and relive his story. To become the man in the place of his dad. Only to realize the unseen struggles he had. Sam said I came to terms with my maker, my family, my wife and from each gained respect, knowledge, and new life. I now reside with my brother, father and my Lord. Laughing and living all in one accord. Sam spoke these words to his family that he was not scared. He just wants us like him to be fully prepared.
