Obituary
Sandra Lee Williams passed away Saturday, October 5th 2013 at Highline Medical Center after sudden heart failure. She was born July 28th 1942 in Warsaw, NY. Sandi graduated in 1960 from Cleveland High School in Seattle, WA. She met her late husband Owen Williams at Boeing in 1962, and married soon after August 30th 1962. They spent their honeymoon in Hawaii. They have two sons, Mark and Steven.
Over the years Sandi enjoyed many different hobbies – stain glass, canning, knitting and gardening. She enjoyed studying the family genealogy and loved spending time and traveling with her sisters working on this project. After Owen retired, she loved traveling with her husband and especially enjoyed going to Texas to visit their son Steven, daughter-in-law Debbie and granddaughters Joelle, Shayla and Kailey. She also enjoyed several cruises to Alaska and Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband Owen Williams, her loving parents Elton “Red” and Martha Higginbotham of Des Moines, WA, and Owen’s parents Lloyd and Jessie Williams of Red Lion, PA.
She is survived by her loving son Steven, daughter-in-law Debbie and granddaughters Joelle, Shayla and Kailey of Frisco Texas. Her son Mark, partner Carolyn and children, Joe and his daughter Ava; Beau; and Ashley and her children Jasmine and Aleena. Sandi also leaves behind her sisters Janene Ryan and Judy Anson, brother Ron Higginbotham, brother-in-law Wayne and sister-in-law Marie Williams of Malvern PA.
A gravesite service will be held at Washington Memorial on Thursday October 10th at 1:00 pm.
