Obituary
Sandra “Sandy” Kitson (née Mudge) died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, April 9th in Burien, Washington at the age of 55.
Sandy is survived by her husband (T Scott Kitson), her daughters (Janelle (Scott), and Amber (Rong) and her grandson Sokee.
Sandy was born on November 22nd 1960 in Seattle, Washington to Alice Tyni & Joseph Mudge. She married T Scott Kitson on November 1st 1986. Sandy (and Scott) traveled extensively in Europe and Asia while Scott worked for Boeing in Saudi Arabia.
An Open House will be held on Saturday afternoon at the family home in Burien. All are welcome to attend and help us celebrate Sandy’s life.
In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to Americares in Sandy’s name. Condolences may be registered on this website.
Please celebrate Sandy’s life from your home if you are sick or showing symptoms in consideration of Scott’s health issues.
Janelle, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. She was very young and you are too young to be without your mother. Lean on your friends and family to help you through this. And let me know if there is anything at all we can do.

Sandy was not just family – she was also our friend and we are going to miss her dearly. A reminder that life is precious and often way too short – hold your loved ones close and let them know how you feel.
Absolutely shocking. Distance has unfortunately kept me from seeing this side of my family as much as I would want. I am thankful though for the recent reconnect with Sandy over the past few months. I have many memories of Sandy. Her giving hugs and quarters to my boys at Fred Meyer for the machines. And i have a bix of ornaments she gave me and i think of her every time i open them. My heart goes out to all of you. Amber, janelle and Scott.

I am in shock! I just saw Sandy. She was so worried and upset about Scott’s diagnosis that she was beyond grief…My heart went out to her and now it goes out to the whole family…. I love you all and if there is anything I can do please let me know she was so giving and loving.

We met Sandy at Transform Burien, homeless resource. It was such a shock for us, we will miss her jovial personality and sense of humor. Sorry for your loss Janelle, Amber and Scott. I know Sokee will miss his doting “nana’. We are praying for your comfort.
