Obituary
Santi Phanitchob, Snoqualmie, Washington passed away Thursday, April 13th at Swedish Hospital, Seattle Washington.
Santi was born March 6, 1975 to the parents of Somkhet and Kieu Anh Phanitchob. Santi was raised in Federal Way, Washington and attended public schools there including Lake Grove Elementary, Lakota Junior High, and graduated from Decatur High School in 1993. His house was the gathering place for his close group of friends growing up, and produced many stories that will be shared, and fondly remembered for the years to come.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Santi, will remember his glowing personality and contagious smile. Santi was most happy spending time with his family and friends who were his world. He was a very proud Uncle and often shared stories of his nieces and nephews who he absolutely adored. His quick wit, laughter, and zest for life made a lasting impression to those around him.
He enjoyed golfing, shopping, happy hours, movies, delicious food, and of course watching his favorite team, the 49ers. A very special place to Santi was Hawaii, which he considered a second home. When not in Hawaii, one of his favorite places to frequent was Ohana. With its Hawaiian flare, and good food, it became the spot for Santi to gather with his friends.
Santi was most recently employed at Boeing which he very much enjoyed and planned to retire there.
He is survived by his parents, Somkhet and Kieu Anh Phanitchob; four siblings, Veravanh (Dennis) Tate, Vantana (Dave) Cornick, Somphob (Jan) Phanitchob, and Busaba Phanitchob; seven beloved nieces and nephews, Derek and Kayla Tate, Ashley and Austin Cornick, Hannah and Issac Phanitchob, and Ocean Phanitchob.
